10 places to visit in jaipur.

How i come to this topic?
 As many people requested me to write about the places of Jaipur to visit but those places are already available on Google so what's the use of this blog? wait in this blog I made a blend of some famous and some  not so famous places but worth of visiting. 

Jaipur is very beautiful place known by the  name as pink city. 
Famous for food like pyaaz kachori, mirchi vada, ghewar, phool Chakri, Kher sangri, gatte ki sabzi, daal baati choorma etc.
Also famous for culture, tradition, bazaars, royal feel of the old forts.

So, in this blog we will see 10 places to worth visit in Jaipur. Let's start..

1. Hawa Mahal: It's an Rajput architectural design made by maharaja Pratap Singh in 1799. It's is made up of pink and red sandstone and there are 953 windows and 5 floor exterior in honeycomb shape. Because of so much windows in it which are called jharokas and wind (hawa) passes through them thats how it got its name as Hawa(wind) and Mahal (palace) means wind palace. 

I think the reason behind so many windows is to kept the temperature low in summers and also in Rajput culture ladies are always be in "pardah" and so that they can see the every event and festivals on street from the palace those windows are made.


2. panna Meena ka kund: This place had a less footfall of visitors but this place is worth of visiting as this is 8 story kund a the place has stunning pattern of symmetrical stairs and the unique thing about stairs is one person can't use the one stairs for go down and upward as it's a mystery of stairs.

This kund is situated near Amber fort and looks more beautiful in rainy season or monsoons.


3. Jal mahal: jal Mahal is situated in the middle of man sagar lake in Jaipur city. It's a 5 storied building from which 4 are underwater and 1 is shown as a palace in the middle of lake. It is made by maharaja savai Pratap Singh in 1799 and renovated by Maharaja jai singh 2 of amer.



4. Chour ghati: Chour ghati is not very popular from foreigners point of view but it is a great place for the one who loves trekking as it is easy to moderate trek and the view from top is of galta valley which is covered with lush green grass and trees and it's a very nice place to visit with good reviews by floks.



5. Nahargarh fort:  Jaipur is famous for forts as there are so many forts and one of the majastic fort is nahargarh fort made by Maharaja Sawai Singh 2 in 1734.
 As the fort is made for the safety of Jaipur from wars but no war occured and field gun used for indicating time at that time.
Nahargarh fort is named after the prince Nahar Singh bhomia.



6. Amer fort: It's the main fort of Rajput rulers as it is made by the general of akbar maharaja man singh 1 in 1952. It is generally known as amber fort on the top of aravali hill made up of pink and yellow sandstone.



7. City palace: As city palace Jaipur is made by the  of the city maharaj Sawai jai singh 2 and city palace is a beautiful blend of Rajput and mughal architecture and there various sections of palace one is mubharakh mahal home of maharaja Sawai man singh 2 there are maharani palace also means queens palace. 
As in one part of palace royal family is living and other part is open for public.



8. Galta monkey temple: As galta temple is built in 18th century by Diwan Rao kirpa ram as this temple is situated 10 km away from the city Jaipur in the aravali hills in the dense green garden. 
As it is said that Saint galva meditated here for 100 years and God bless this place with full of water and maybe there are many monkey thats it got's it's name.



9. Jhori bazaar: As let's move to shopping many tourists wants to get souvenir for their friends and family So, let's check out jhori bazaar as this bazaar is famous for the silver , gold and gemstone jewellery and also some vibrant home made colourful jwelleries.



10. Tripolia bazaar: This bazaar is famous for its traditional Rajasthani dresses and amazing carpets and ladies wears. As this bazaar is well known by foreign visitors. If you are tired form shopping you can have food from the stalls and the taste of food is mind blowing you will never forget in your life.
